Just like our local farmers, the YP Country Times has adapted and embraced new technology.

Having published a monthly Farming Xtra feature for many years – allowing us, in partnership with our advertisers, to provide additional farming content in recognition of agriculture being a major part of Yorke Peninsula industry and lifestyle – we have taken this commitment a step further with a dedicated website, Farming Extra.

In bringing our farming stories online, we endeavour to provide free, exclusive and regularly updated content – including the publication of exclusive stories before they appear in the paper, and some that have not appeared in our paper at all.

Subscribing is completely free, and will allow you to comment on stories as we look to encourage discussion of local farming issues among growers and advisers.
