JANDEBREY White Suffolk Stud, located in Sandilands and owned by Geoff and Tania Stock, was established in 1994.
Since the stud’s inception, Geoff and Tania have built a strong reputation for breeding dependable flock rams characterised by robust structure, excellent length, and muscularity.
Their focus is on equipping commercial lamb breeders to maximise the quality of their prime lambs.
“We prioritise breeding high quality, paddock-reared rams that thrive even under challenging conditions,” Geoff says.
“The lamb market has rebounded to favourable levels once more, delivering solid returns for prime lamb producers.”
Geoff and Tania remain committed to enhancing the Jandebrey Stud by purchasing superior White Suffolk stud sires and high-quality ewes from prominent studs across Australia.
“Our 2024 sale rams are the progeny of excellent stud sires from Baringa Stud in Oberon, New South Wales, and Wingamin Stud in Karoonda,” Geoff says.
“These studs consistently excel at prestigious shows like Hamilton, Bendigo, Canberra, Sydney and Adelaide.”
All Jandebrey White Suffolks are vaccinated against Ovine Johne’s disease and accredited free of Ovine Brucellosis.
At the 2023 sale, repeat buyers DA & RA Detmar of Warooka praised the rams for their impressive length, muscular development and uniformity. Des and Bec purchased the highest-priced ram for a sale record of $2650, with the average sale price for 2023 standing at $1044.
Jandebrey White Suffolks proudly supports the Ardrossan Football Club and Curramulka Community Club Lamb Competitions by donating a ram as the first prize to each club. Additionally, the stud sponsors the Central Yorke Cougars Football Club.
